Eyes are one of the most vital organs of our body. We must care for it. A specialized department of Alliance hospital is deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eye is called Ophthalmology.

Our expertise provides the full spectrum of eye care, from prescribing glasses and contact lenses to critical and delicate eye surgery. One of the most common problems of the eye is ‘Senile Mature Cataract’ which can be treated at our hospital with 100% vision restoration. Our eye surgeons’ team is highly experienced in performing stitch less surgery using the latest Phaco-emulsification techniques. We also offer a plethora of foldable and non-foldable lenses to pick your choice from.

The Ophthalmology Department at Alliance Multispeciality Hospital comprises of a team of well-trained Ophthalmologists. We are well equipped by latest equipment and technology to enhance the delightful gift of sight covering various services such as Anterior and Posterior segment which includes Phaco emulsification surgery, Management of retinal disorders with Lasers, Intravitreal anti-VEGFs or Vitreoretinal surgery, Ocular trauma, Glaucoma, Uvea and disorders of Ocular surface.

To perform all the critical surgeries and treatments we have the Phoropter Refraction equipment, Pachymeter, Non-Contact Tonometer, Slit Lamp with anterior segment photography, Fundus camera for Fundus fluoroscein Angiography, Green Lasers with both slit lamp and laser indirect ophthalmoscope delivery, Yag laser and Optical Coherence Tomography. Our operation theatre has a Phaco-emulsification machine, Vitrectomy machine, advanced operating microscope and other essential micro instruments.

Apart from our in-house Neonatal ICU babies, we expand our services to all our walk-in patients or babies admitted in other NICUs who require the screening. We are equipped with Green Lasers with Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscopy to treat the babies. These babies have long term follow up requirements for visual as well as neurological evaluation in our hospital.

In today’s world, Diabetic Retinopathy is being common in a wide range in the region. We have all the necessary set up to examine the Diabetic Retinopathy. We also treat the patients to prevent the onset of advanced diabetic eye disease.
